First job ever

I worked for my uncle’s residential remodeling company in high school. We offered room additions, fence and deck building, interior and exterior painting, pressure washing, and hardwood door refinishing. Painting three coats on stucco homes in the 105-degree Houston heat gave me a deep appreciation for how hard contractors work each day.

Most likely to spend a spare hour

Hanging out with my wife Alyson, working out, reading a book, cooking, grabbing a meal with friends, writing, or listening to a podcast. My favorite quote Think clearly; love sincerely; work hard; life is short; make each day your masterpiece; make friendship a fine art; collect bad wine; read good books.

Where you’ll find me on a Saturday morning

Drinking coffee and reading a book, followed by working out then getting bagels with Alyson.

Fun fact about me

I officiated a wedding in Mexico for two of my best friends, who I introduced to one another in undergrad. Favorite workout routines Muay Thai kickboxing and weightlifting. I love Muay Thai’s blend of creativity, strategy, discipline, balance, strength and flexibility. Bryan W.
